Rouen duck swallowed plastic water bottle label

My male duck who’s not a year old yet pecked a plastic water bottle label and swallowed it.
He seems fine and is eating, drinking, and doing his ducky thing. Just wondering if he’ll be okay.

Yes, he will be fine. Tomorrow, watch for a very shriveled, barely recognizable label to appear in his poop.

I hope your baby is doing OK today! I’ve had a couple scares with my ducks - one that swallowed a bell off a cat toy and another that swallowed a small fishing hook! I was an absolute wreck after each incident and my vet reassured me that ducks have a tendency to eat cr@p they’re not supposed to and have pretty tough digestive systems. In both cases they were totally fine! I drove myself nuts looking through their poo for the bell and hook - neither of which I found but they’re both happy and healthy today. Don’t stress - your baby will be just fine and is lucky to have such an attentive momma!!

My boy is doing fine. I didn’t see anything pass but I’m sure that it must have. He’s healthy and happy
