Rouen ducklings or mallard ducklings

Tsc just called and said they got my ducklings in but have no idea if they are mallards or rouens. I don't care either way bc they are going to be pets. I would however like to know what I'm buying. How can I tell the difference between the 2 and how do u sex them. I only want one of each if I can guess correctly lol

The only way to sex babies is by vent sexing so you are just going to get what you get with a straight run. I believe mallards have just one stripe on their face while rouens have 2. Mallards are also way, way smaller.

No real way to tell the sex at that age (besides vent sexing, which you don't want to do unless you know how).

Mallards will have a single stripe across their eye, Rouens will have two stripes... one across the eye, one under it.

Thanks! I have lots to learn. Here is a picture of the parents.

We have four ducks, 1 drake and 3 hens. We are expecting ducklings soon as all three hens are sitting on nests.
