How old do they have to be before we can put them in the bath? We just got three from TSC yesterday.

I got them when they were only two days old but waited till they were about five days old before putting them in the bathtub. They will be fine they are natural swimers. As long as you keep an eye on them and only have a few inches of water to where they can stand up if they want to or I put few rocks in mine so they could stand on those. Make sure the water is warm, and that they dont stay in to long. Since they dont have their feathers yet they will absorb the water. The first day i let them swm they only got to swim for about 5 minutes, then a little more each day. But when you take them out especially when they are smaller dry them off with a towel and put them back under the heat lamp. They are so cute to watch swimming around. And when they are young they like to dive under the water so crush some peas up or i even take some of their food and throw it in their bath and watch them go crazy!

Awesome. I will be doing that tonight then. I have never had ducks before, just chickens. My husband saw them at TSC and he fell in love. So the I am sure I will be asking a lot more questions as they get older. Thank you

No problem, I had ducks a few years back and that was my first time. So i know how it is. I was always nervous about if i was doing things right. Unfortunately i had to get rid of them, so it has been 2 years since i have had some. And i wasnt really planning on getting some this year. But i saw them and just couldnt resist. They are very easy to fall in love with.
