Rouen pet duck circles

Hi,
Does anyone know what it means or why my male Rouen duck circles me when I'm outside. I have made a game of it with him as I laugh and rub his sides as he crosses in front of me. This did start with my daughter though. I am hopeful that it means he's happy. Any thoughts are appreciated as this is our first but we have more on the way.

Hi Matty, that is a question best presented on the "Duck thread," just put that in the search box and it will pop. If he is a mature drake, maybe that is some sort of mating display.

My rouen drake started to do exactly the same to me but just to me. I have no idea why but its funny! Pls let me know of anyone knows anything about this behavior
