First, I was wrong about my rouens gender in the first place. I thought that bright blue spot on their wing meant they were a male. I went on google images and searched "rouen females" and they have blue spots on their wings (I've never had rouens before). Either way I have tried every sexing I could. They're too old to vent sex. The males don't have green heads yet (unless I don't have any males). Every duck's tailfeathers look the same. I tried to quack sex them by catching and holding them. Here's my result. The first one sounded like a female with her voice muted. I have quack sexed ducks before, and that was definitely not your typical male or female quack. I coudn't figure out that one. The second one was worse. It woudn't make a sound. That guess is also as good as yours. The strange thing is that I have Pekins, Buffs, and my Runner all making loud quacks. The Rouens and the Campbells haven't developed their voices yet. The even stranger part is that I have a Black Swedish/ROUEN cross that is 1 month younger that is quacking away with her life (I can tell already it's a her). When will I be able to tell what gender my ducks are?
