Ok, so I plan on raising meat birds, but I heard that rouens are awesome meat ducks, but pekins are bigger and eaisier to pluck? If pekins are more worth the time, then ill sell my rouens, and get pekins in spring. But im just sooooo confused now!

If you've got Rouens now, I'd just work with them for the time being and see what you get. Seems silly to get rid of one breed you already have that ought to suit your needs to go to the trouble of starting over with another, similar breed. Although, if you want a meat duck that is utterly charming and beautiful, as well as large and a bit leaner than the Pekin, I'd get a Silver Appleyard myself. Love that breed!

Its just the rouens are soooo hard to pluck! My friend ate two rouens, and I helped pluck them, it was super hard!
