I had a friend that had a German Shorthair that had bad seizures for quite some time. It is so distressing to everyone involved in the family.

Leo is feeling quite a bit better now. His steroid dose was increased, and he now has valium. The valium is only to be given after a seizure in the hopes that it prevents more.

I got in before the last rate increae, so it's about $25 a month. I get $220 in annual maintenance (includes teeth cleaning, shots, microchipping, spay/neuter, heartworm prevention, frontline, exam, etc.) and major medical. I pay a $50 deductible on major medical, then they pay 90% after that up to the prescribed limits. They also pay 90% on prescriptions.

ETA: with what they already paid I figure that the next 3 1/2 years of premiums is covered
