Roughly 10 week Barred Rocks

Ok, so these guys are roughly 10 weeks. Ideas on gender? I tried to pick out 4 pullets from Tractor Supply but......

They are all cockerels. Pullets this age would have much less comb and darker in pattern. Sorry

Well crap!! Guess I don’t know what I am doing trying to pick them out as chicks. Looked for small headspot and dark legs

Only some bloodlines of Barred Rocks can be sexed as chicks. Its not likely hatchery Barred Rocks can be.

Better post your location if your looking to rehome them.

Head spots are a crapshoot and totally unreliable, IMO. Very dark and very extensive "wash" on the legs is better, but I don't see any dark wash on those legs.

They will either get “rehomed” or ate after I put a little more weight on them.

I've dressed Barred Rocks in the past and never again. Black pin feathers SUCK lol.

I didn’t have any trouble with the last 4. I skinned them though. And man, that was first home grown chicken I have ever had and wow what a difference
