Round 1 - 4 wk Maran Girl / Boy ?

Santa brought me four Marans for Christmas. They are now about 4 weeks old. Do you see any potential roos?

Hey, They may be a little bit older than 4 wks. I'm not completely sure but heres a pic of a chick that hatched out with them that is a roo. You can see how developed his comb is already.

Poultry Haven - - - these are the babies I got from you. I am posting all the pics of my chicks from that day.

Look for the posting for Round 2 & 3, for the ones I picked up in the Daytona area.

You can see that the 3 up front look like they are gonna be blues, but the one in the back left is a BLACK.

Poultry Haven - - - Judging my your pics - I got the GIRLS - YEA !

Tiramasu has ever so slight color showing and the other three combs - - - no red color at all!

I got to see some Maran eggs

at the show in Lake City today.
They were 5 and 6's on the French chart. Oh so dark. I can't wait for these girls to start laying and show me what they have for eggs.

Do you have any idea how dark the eggs were that these girls came from - - - email or pm me if you want too.

There were no MARANS at the show today. There was a MARAN rooster outside for sale.

The Maran club was there - - - but no chicks or chickens.
