round 2... this time I am incubating BYC eggs with some from my hens

so I broke down and paid shipping for free eggs on here from another member. I received them yesterday and started up the incubator immediately. so far humidity is great and so is the temp. I added an extra water bowl with a sponge to it on top of the first water bowl with sponge.

Bad news is that my 2 year old will be having some pretty major surgery this week or next and I don't know if the hubby will monitor it enough and turn them enough. we will be there at least 2 days.

Good luck with your eggs. The good news is that turning only three times a day for the two or three days you are away will suffice. Just tell hubby to ture when he gets up, after work (or at lunch) and then once before bed. Maybe when you call he to update him on your DD you can remind him to turn.
