In December I noticed one round worm in a poop in the coop. I wormed the whole flock with Piperazine (Wazine) twice (two week interval). No sign of any more round worms but I decided as a preventative measure I would do it again in June (again, twice at two week interval).

I have two broody hens sitting on eggs. When one of them got off the nest to poop today it was wiggling! I noticed a couple of round worms. My question is should I deworm the whole flock (including the two broodies) now before the chicks are born? I'm not worried that this hen might pass worms on to the chicks via the eggs as the eggs aren't hers.

I assumed that worming them twice would kill whatever they might have had. Any suggestions?

Best of luck!
