Gross-i know-but this was a RIR 1 1/2 yo hen that i chose because her comb was smaller/not as red. She was also possibly molting because lack of feathers(no parasites visable) and I don't THINK she was currently laying. she had a softball sized water filled thing in her. the sac holding water was transparent and uniformly light colored. I am going searching on web but thought maybe this was something well known or??????? thanks for any ideas.
