We are in our third year building our garden. This year we decided to try a large row garden instead of the 4x25 plots with 4 feet of grass between that we had the last two years. Our first time watering the new garden we quickly realized it is a pain compared to what we had the last two years. Dealing with the hose in the dirt and trying to pull the hose along without wrecking the young plants takes an enormous amount of time. This brings me here. What system do you all find works best for watering large row gardens? I'm considering drip or soaker hose systems but my garden changes every year so whatever system we use has to be flexible. Any advice on what works best for you would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I haven't tried them myself, but the perforated hoses seem like a pretty good system for that use. I would assume they're pretty easy to reel in for the winter. Also, they spread the water low, so you're not misting the leaves, so you'd probably save some water.
