GloriaH: In humans this particular type of tumor has been known to reoccur (it is very rare). In turkeys? Let's just say I hope not (pretty much an unknown). Without the Screamer bird running scrimmage for my wife, ol' roodawg would probably get his butt broomed savagely - the tom always gets between the roo and my wife and can whack him pretty briskly.

I find this whole thing most interesting. I'm glad to hear and see by the pics that he seems to be improving.
