Royal Palm Turkey

I am very interested in adding some royal palm turkeys to my flock next year and had a few questions.
1. How many eggs do they lay?
2. Will the tom fight with my rooster?
3. How large should their nest boxes be?
4. How much roost space do they need?

1. If you collect them daily 30-40 or more. If not about a dozen.
2. The Tom will establish his dominance--but after that's done not so much. There will be the occasion when your hen pecks at a chicken and the roo will peck at the hen, then the Tom will intercede. The Tom will protect his girls first and everyone else in the pasture second.
3. Mine refuse to use one--but the best nest box architect I know is @memphis
4. I give mine 3 cubic feet. One of my books says two--but they would skip every other perch, now that I've spaced them at 3' instead of 2' they use every perch.

Palms are beautiful, fun and easy to be around. Spend time enjoying them.
