My opinion is that your rp should have an actual plot. I haven’t joined any role plays lately because I want to know the actual goal the rp has. What sort of evil are they trying to defeat? For example:

What it’s about doesn’t matter to me. As long as it has actual structure.

It'll be hard to tell what the plot is until I've decided on what sort of creatures it'll be about. I'll keep you posted.

Depends on what you like, dogs, cats, birds, people, mythical animals?
I myself have done, a bird RP, a Saliko Rp, and a wolf RP, I also did a Legend of Zelda RP.
Although I don't know how far my wolf one will go...
