Rubber egg two days in a row?

I have one chicken who always used to give me a nice hard shelled egg but now all the sudden for the past two days she gave me two rubber eggs. What does it mean and how do I fix it?

Usually this indicates a lack of calcium. Is she on layer rations?

It may not be something to worry about. If you feed treats or anything other than propriety feed (and oyster shell, if you feed all flock feed) then stop them. There can be a number of possible causes, this link should help explain
