Just found a very large bumpy rubbery egg (not thin membrane but THICK) in the coop. It was gross! We cut into it easily with a knife and peeled off multiple layers like a soft onion.
The inside was completely scrambled.

All three chickens appear to be fine. We suspect it is from our eldest (who will be 5 in 2 months).

Anyone have this happen before? It wasn't the thin see through rubbery type you get on occasion...this thing was about 1/2" thick with rubber layers.

Thank you! Just looked up the forums regarding Lash eggs. Gross. Her egg was liquid inside and at least resembled an egg. She appears completely normal...healthy weight and physically normal. Eating and foraging...I'm going to keep an eye on her.
