Ruby’s severely injured

I had to take my girl to the vet today, I will no longer be trying to integrate her into the coop again they are becoming ruthless they have now split her back of her head completely open please keep her in your thoughts hoping for a full recovery my poor sweet girl😢😢😢

I had a bird badly scalped, her skull was visible. It was done by flockmates. I flushed it well and kept it covered in plain triple antibiotic ointment, reapplied several times a day as needed to keep it covered in the ointment. It formed a very thick scab, which came off gradually from the edges in. She made a complete recovery and was normal, and normal looking, after it healed up. The picture below was 5 -6 weeks after the injury happened, feathers just starting to come in. I did keep her crated until it was healed enough to not be a pecking risk from others.
