Well despite my efforts to update the original post...the sad news it that Ruby was euthanaised yesterday afternoon.....I would like to thank seminolewind and eggcessive for their wonderful help..

Yesterday morning Ruby seemed agitated...she looked bewildered and I was concerned for her...and spent quite some time with her,,she was dripping some blood from her vent and suddenly it started pouring from her in the afternoon...she did not show any signs of pain but it was her time...her end was swift and I am still in floods of tears....what else could I do? I feel I failed her and I so miss her....she is waiting for me somewhere...we will meet again my precious.

Suzie I followed your story and didn't have anything to contribute at the time. I would like to say now that you did your best and ruby was lucky to be with you. Don't be too hard on yourself , it's just the down side of loving and caring. God speed ruby. :hugs

Oh Suzie I just read about your losing Ruby, and I'm so sorry that you had to put her down. I'm sure you will miss her. Take care.
