I ran out of food saturday not sure why I was too much of a moron to think to go buy feed for them. Anyway I fed them some veggies, pasta, rice and other yummies yesterday. That should have tided them over till this morning when I could get them some feed. Get out this morning and was told under no certain terms I was starving them plum to death and if I did not feed them right then they would start dropping like flies.
Well we went to get feed and all they had was scratch. Shipment due middle of the week. Ok this will work until then. So I feed them all their scratch and go on. Later today I go out with a typical midday snack of bread from breakfast. They all rushed in to gobble it up EXCEPT Ruby my lap chicken. She showed interest in it but walked off. I freak out and decidedn to bring her inside. The little brat is lounging on a paper towel eating pieces of bread from my husband. I think she just wanted to come in the house where she gets ice water and hand fed.
