Not a Araucana...

With the single comb, leg color, body type and color he looks like someone is crossing a Araucana with a Partride Plymouth Rock..

Thank you for your identification of him. I thought he was not a true because of his comb but it sounds like a throwback default.

Since he has a straight comb it is highly unlikely that he carries the blue egg gene.

There is another breed that is rumpless and has a straight comb, but it's not an aracauna. I had a thread about it a while back, so I'll see if I can find it. I believe that is a pure bred bird.
