That's was my initial assumption. I have gone over and knocked twice now to ask them what's going on. I know they've had these birds for at least a year, because I could hear them, Fayoumis have a very unique sounding voice. I'm actually starting to wonder if they're out of town or maybe even moved and left the birds? I saw a bunch of rose combed Easter egger looking birds in the yard directly behind our house and I know they don't belong there so assume they're coming through a hole on the fence between the yards. The Fayoumi can fly, so she just goes over the fence no problem.The owner might not be feeding them well enough. You would be surprised how many people think you can just turn chickens out and they will find everything they need. Being a breed like that one would think they know better tho.
