run, chicken wire and questions

I have my coop which is an 8x12 shed converted into a coop. getting ready to put a containment fence/run around it making it pretty big 1200 sq ft. I want it to me as close to free range as possible.... they will be locked up in a predator proof coop at night do I really need to use anything other than chicken wire?? I am adding electric wire/tape around the bottom and possible top as well. I only have a few chickens it would be like free ranging in a small yard

With properly installed electric wiring I'd be very happy with that set-up. That should stop any land-based predator and locking them up at night is huge added insurance.
