I just got my anti-hawk netting in the mail that I bought on Ebay. I know that it has not yet stood the test of time, but it feels really sturdy, looks pretty good, and was quite reasonably priced. I bought 20x32ft but it looks more like about 20x40 now that it is laid out on the lawn. There are a few small tears in it (the net is a used fishing net) but nothing serious that I can't fix with zip-tie or some string. It is pretty heavy duty stuff, and I know I will feel better knowing that the hawks around here will never be able to get through to my birds while I'm at work all day.
If anyone wants to look at this netting for themself, it is the " Used Nautical Fish Net" that this Ebay seller has lots of sizes and shapes of ... http://stores.ebay.com/THE-NET-SHED
As a bonus, I could go fishing with the leftovers
