Run design????

Does my wire look like it's sagging? Because it's not. I'm wondering if you are seeing the lathe I used for the bottom beneath the panels.

I think it's something like 9'x7'...

Im so sorry, I wasnt referring to what you have done.
I thought you were asking a bout a cover for the top.
you could losely staple a cattle panel from one end so it could hinge and latch it if need be on the other.

please forgive me for seeming rude.

I'm sorry for misunderstanding. I guess that's what happens through written text. No harm done. And thanks for the tip. But I guess I don't understand what you're referring to as a cattle panel. The only cattle panels I've worked with are heavy metal tubing. Wouldn't that be too heavy for my simple 1x2 framing on the top? Let me know.

I was wondering about putting a piece of plywood on top with a couple of hinges on it.

its cool:^}
I was referring to a welded wire panel, my entire run is built from them: there strong and very easy to use,
but a 1 by 2 probably wouldnt hold them up
good luck with your run:^}

You can always add more vertical boards to support the weight of the roof if you are worried about the weight of the cover.

Corrugated metal isn't real heavy, either.

My runs are covered with heavy-weight netting often sold for game bird farms, I got some smaller pieces off ebay. Be sure to get the heavy weight. It is easy to prop up the center with a post to give more head room.

Polypropylene. If you do an ebay search for netting in Business and Industrial, then select agriculture on the left side to narrow your search, you should find it. You can buy it from suppliers such as Strombergs too, I think.
