Okay, so I have fished my coop, its 4x8 ft and I will be having 11 BANTAM chickens in it. Since they can fly, they will not be allowed to free range. How big should I make my run? Would a 12'x 7' run be able to provide ample space? Thanks!

It's recommended 10 square feet per bird for full size birds so with banties you at about the minimum but birds will adjust to what their given.

As to their flying, why not trim some wing feathers so they stay where it's safe and can free range? It doesn't hurt them, it's easy.

Well as far as the wing clipping, They will be used in our 4-H show, and We are " Discouraged" from clipping wings for show purposes. After fair I will clip their wigs so they can free range.
