Run Toys

Bisbee! We are close by! Those photos are priceless, they look like they're in deep thought reading about "the power of oats"!
yes it was really a total hoot how they seemed to be reading every word ...lol... they were 3 weeks old , and yes we are close by plus i have relatives in Albuquerque.

lol I got mine a giant bouncy balls hahaha they pick them up and throw them with there mouth and watch it bounce, then run after it again and again. They tried to put it in the water thinking it was food to soften it up to eat it, then realized they couldn't so started playing with it again

Maybe Hahahaha awww. The one I gave em has fake eyes in it. So maybe there just trying to eat the eyes, good thing they haven't broke it yet.

I snapped off bolted ornamental kale from my flowerbeds. The stems were really sturdy so I took a trowel and buried the stems. My chickens spent the rest of the day pecking at their kale "tree" until only the skeletal purple veins of the leaves were left.

One empty one qt mayo jar, cleaned. Drill four 3/8" holes separated equally around jar, fill with scratch and screw the lid on it. Chunk it in the run.

Chicken experience the world through pecking. When they get bored with that they turn to each other.

After a couple times you may need to make another with smaller holes and make them work harder. My flock can empty one in under a day with the larger holes.
