Azure noticed how rigid Jesse *Jess?* had become, but he took her nod as a go-ahead sign. Moving behind her, he reared onto her back.

Sunstruck lowered her head and sniffed again. Raising it, "Hello!" She pranced in place. She liked meeting new horses. "My name is Sunstruck, but my friends call me Sunny. They call me stubborn too. What's your name?" She pricked her ears and cocked her head expectantly.
