Cedar stood up, her fur bristling. She said nothing for fear that her voice would come out weak as a pup's. She tensed her legs as if to attack him, but, strangely, she did not. Her pale golden eyes stared into Suka's higher ones. Her heart, bitter and hard from her failed attempts at finding love, snapped completely.Suka finally got to his paws and, noticing Cedar, he plastered a smirk on his maw. Padding over, he said, "It's the consequences of defying our pack's power, darling." Putting a paw on her shoulder, he added in a hushed voice, "It's for the greater good." Straightening his posture so that his full height, rather impressive, was shown. And he stared eerily down at her with an unreadable expression.
Klash jumped away from her fangs. He lunged back at her and tried to bite her muzzle.
( I laughed more than I should have... )Faedon gasped as Killian's paw smacked hard against her head, right between her eyes. She didn't utter so much as a yelp; she merely stumbled like a newborn pup learning to walk, and lost her footing. Stars danced around her head, carried by some unseen wind.
Cedar turned her head just a little. Spotting the dead body, she felt as if all of her bones had been smashed. She wasn't ready. She couldn't do it. She would not fight any longer.Willow's bloody form lay in a heap in the middle of the battleground, her once sparkling amber eyes now glazed and dull with death. Fyra stood next to it, growling at all the wolves who passed by and kept her teary eyes peeled for Cody.
Quote: "You know, I'd not let my guard down if I was you," he added, again. His voice was low and smooth, and not the least bit threatening, though it held a hint of a tone that said he knew she couldn't hurt him.
