Whatcha Making for Supper?

Not my best effort, but I'm out of salsa :(

I used a different brand of corn tortillas, too.
I like the size, but they took longer to cook. I did not expect that.

🤔 Something I don't know about I guess.
Traditional Maryland crabcake seasonings. There's been a heated debate going on for generations about which is better. It can get hotter than a political face-off! Old Bay is the one most associated with Maryland, but no Marylander in their right mind would turn down steamed crabs covered with either!

Did you guys prep anything in case anything happens to knock out power?
I did a family pack of hamburger meat, and 1 pound of sausage.
I also have chicken already cooked for soup.
All of those can be warmed up on our propane camping stove.
The storm's due tonight and the soup's already on! We stay well stocked on canned goods and I've been cooking double for the past few days - one meal for "now" and one for the fridge or freezer. When (not if, around here) the power goes out, we'll use the propane stove. It pays to have raised a family of Scouts. We have everything we need to set up camp in the living room!
We live in a very small town and are luckily on the same power grid as the police station & firehouse - both priorities for outage repairs!

I love hamburger on tacos with catsup! Actually, when I do that, I add cheese, pickles, tomatoes, onion and lettuce. A burger on a tortilla. That's what my mom made when I was a kid. They are actually really good. Whenever I make tacos with burger now, I'm so tempted to make one that way.

Oh okay. I do have Old Bay seasoning in the cupboard, but I don't use it when I make crab cakes. Maybe I'll give that a try next time.

Sage and garlic encrusted pork tenderloin, oven fried potatoes, green beans and a salad. But mainly just salad for me.

I'm having chicken fricassee for my brunch today. It turned out so good and I don't want to miss out. :D
