Cedar's head flew up. Her eyes widened and she scrambled up from a sleeping position in her den. Running outside, she looked around the Stonepack dens. "What's going on?!"

(No, I ate the gopher.)

"Faedon?" Cedar called, following her scent.

Faedon was coming out of the forest. She nearly crashed into Cedar, and almost snarled something about watching where you're going, but when she realized who it was, she decided against it. "Yeah, Cedar?" Her ears kept twitching, as though something was lodged in them.

"Something's wrong," Cedar said breathlessly. "Senkah needs you back at camp. We got a howl for help from Willow."

Cedar loped after them. She barely knew Willow, but it was important to her to help any member of Stonepack.

Fyra sprinted after them, quickly passing Faedon as she wanted - no, needed - to get to her friend fast. Something was definitely wrong; horribly wrong.

Willow could smell the wolves approaching. Stonepack. They were hear. Swallowing the bubble of bile in her throat, she let out another breathy howl.
