Duke crouched low in the grass. He could see a rabbit a few yards away. His stomach growled with anticipation. He wagged his tail and jumped up and ran towards it. Just as he was about to grab it a white blur streaked out from behind a bush and grabbed the rabbit and ran off.

"Really Charlotte?!" Duke exclaimed.

Yukon picked at a few giblets of meat left on the bones of his sparrow, before he put it back down. It was a nice snack, but he was still hungry. He rose to his paws, and loped into the forest, breathing in the crisp scents of the forest.
