Like a bullet, the massive blue and white form of the alpha male surged from the shadows, snapping his powerful jaws inches from Destoe's face. "Akira is my daughter and that makes her higher in rank than you pups, whether you like it or not. If you question her again, I'll use your pelts to line my nest. Got it?" His jaws snapped together with each word, creating a hollow echo with each snap.

"Alright." Kodiak turned away from Klash, making sure to fling a few bits of gravel in his face as he did so. "I'll meet you in my den."
