Piper stood stiffly and took a few steps towards him, a smile lighting up her eyes. "Garron," she whispered. happiness and fear filled her at the same time. What should she say? She could not think of the words to express herself. Instead she just stood there, shaking with uneasiness and wiriness.
Garron felt anxiety tingling in his paws as he gazed at Piper. He was ecstatic to see her, but at the same time, there was an ominous feeling lingering over him as though something bad was about to happen. He took a tentative step forward, but he took it back a second later.
Piper felt like crying.
"Oh, Garron....thank you for coming."
She hesitated for a moment longer and then rushed to him, burring her face in the rough pelt of his shoulder. He smelled like the pines she loved..the ones that whispered in the breeze. She choked back a sob of happiness.
"Of course, Piper." Garron rested his head over hers in a loving gesture. "I'll always come." Piper felt a thrill of pure happiness at his words. He would always come...
She drew back and pulled out two rabbits she had brought with her. "I brought something..."
She half smiled and looked down. "I thought we could go up there and watch the sun set behind the mountains?" She motioned to a large rock formation to their right.
(( *squee* ))
"As long as I'm with you." He nuzzled her.
((ikr? *faints*)
As Piper and Garron moved up towards the rocks, she wound her tail in his, letting all her worry dissipate. The only thing that mattered right now was him.
Garron had come back...he would always come back....and with him hope. A hope for her life to return to her...a hope that their love may one day flourish, not be hidden from her brother.
She was embarrassed when she had trouble leaping up to the last boulder, she sore, stiff muscles making her movements clumsy. She bit her lip and tried to hide her pain as she set down the rabbits and stared out over the valley.
The next day, Scar gave Piper a rest.
For the fist time in a week a small smile could be seen on her face as she raced through the territory...exhausted though she was.
She rushed into the clearing she had met Garron in and sat down in the leaves, panting, waiting, hoping.
Garron stepped out from behind the spruces. His form was hidden by the shadows, but his blue-gray eyes seemed to glow like polished gems. "Piper," he murmured.

Garron watched as the sun sank behind the distant mountains of Stonepack. Gently, he drew his tongue over Piper's ear, and rested his head over hers. He enjoyed the sunset, but what mattered most to him was that he was right here with Piper.
Piper nuzzled his shoulder as he placed his head over hers. This is the way it should always be...
Always...
But would always ever come?
She closed her eyes and smiled. Here was where her heart was at home. "I love you Garron..." she whispered into his ear. It didn't surprise her...but she had never said it out loud...
Garron was her friend...her only friend...but there was something more.
Her whisper was barely audible, the words simple but full of true emotion.
"I love you..."

Gryphon smiled, his deep auburn eyes dancing in the light of the dying sun making them almost gold. "I'm Gryphon." he said softly. "This is my home...well...It's what I call home anyway."
(flirt flirt flirty-flirt)
Willowpelt's piercing blue eyes sparkled in the dim sun. She howled, waiting for the moon to rise. The rock became cold, she shivered.
(XD)
Gyphon watched her howl but didn't make a noise. He did not like drawing attention to himself unless it was in the dark of night. He did not want the wrong wolf to find his lair...
Especially the wolf who had been chasing him all his life.
A cool wind ruffled his sleek pelt, his teeth catching the last rays of the sun as as he yawned. Slowly...it set behind the mountains. He simply sat there and enjoyed the company of another wolf.
Williowpelts long grey tail wrapped around Gryphons. She scooted closer to him, enjoying having him around. She really liked this wolf, she thought that it could be love. (IM BACK!!!!!))
Gryphon looked at her and raised an eyebrow. He didn't mind it but it was most unexpected to have a complete stranger offer such a caring gesture. If it had been another wolf he may have snarled and drove them away...but she was rather pretty. He tensed when she first did it but kept staring out at the pink and purple sky...above them the sky darkened but he didn't feel in the least tired. "I-I'm sorry," she said to him when she felt him tense up. "The sunset it beautiful," she stated. What was left of the sunlight shinned on her beautiful pelt as her eyes sparkled. Now she knew he loved him, yet it was to soon to tell him that. She laid down next to him.
Gryphon, being a quiet and wise wolf, would have been fine spending the rest of the evening silent, sitting with his new acquaintance. But he knew it would be polite to make small talk so he tried it. "So, Willowpelt. Have you been a loner for long?" Willowpelt nodded. "My whole life. And you?" She asked. Willowpelt wondered if he liked her too.
Gryphon nodded his head slowly. "Yes. But since I have found this spot my wandering spirit has been appeased...it is lovely, is it not?" He asked simply, motioning to the view of the valley and the mountains rising above them in the distance wreathed in the sunset, the river glinting. "Yes it's lovely," she said. "I'm thirsty," Willowpelt said.
Gryphon shifted and pointed with his tail to his right. "Just down there is a little spring that juts out from the side of the rock. It's barely a trickle but the water is clear and good."
He smiled and winked, "But if I keep telling you all my secrets you'll just steal my spot away from me!" Willowpelt nodded. She began to walk off the rock. She turned her head back at Gryphon. "Wanna come?" She asked, strutting around.
Gryphon stood and slowly stretched. "Mmm...I might as well. I am a bit parched." he yawned. He jumped down smoothly, not making a sound as he landed softly for his great size. (They're totally falling in love.)
Willowpelt smiled. She walked next to Gryphon, curling her tail around him every once and a while. She enjoyed being with him.
Gryphon chose to ignore this strange she-wolf's advances. He found them quite amusing and not at all annoying. "Here we are." he said as them came close to his den. The water trickled down the side of the rock from a small crack. Willowpelt began to drink from the stream.
"N-No, I've just been living off the land, sleeping in the grass," she explained. "But it's really cold," she hinted.Gryphon watched her kindly. "Have a place to go tonight? It's not safe for us loners to walk a long way's at night."
