hello?"I don't want any thing." Destoe said with a blank face
"Really?" Suski huffed. "So you came over here and interrupted my son's hunting practice, because you didn't want anything?" She said sarcastically."I don't want any thing." Destoe said with a blank face
After her brief talk with Senkah, Fyra left the densite, setting out to search for Cody. She wanted to apologize... she needed to... even if she didn't know what she did wrong. She didn't know at all, but every cell in her being was calling her to go find him...
Destoe then thought and popped up and said "Oh yes! Their is one thing, and that is patience, patience is key. Not just in hunting...." Destoe paused and lowerd his voice and then said "in all.""Really?" Suski huffed. "So you came over here and interrupted my son's hunting practice, because you didn't want anything?" She said sarcastically.
"Okay?" Suski replied. "Thanks for the input." She rolled her eyes. "Ripple, remember what I told you? Focus on your surroundings."Destoe then thought and popped up and said "Oh yes! Their is one thing, and that is patience, patience is key. Not just in hunting...." Destoe paused and lowerd his voice and then said "in all."
Destoe then said " oh and do forgive me Suski if I'm making "an impression".""Okay?" Suski replied. "Thanks for the input." She rolled her eyes. "Ripple, remember what I told you? Focus on your surroundings."
Ripple looked away from Destoe. "Yes mother." He replied.
"Listen, I don't know what game you're playing at, but you're getting on my nerves." She looked at him with a blank expression.Destoe then said " oh and do forgive me Suski if I'm making "an impression"."
Quote: Garnet was curled in her den around the newborn pups, still weak from the birth. Two boys - a large red and a sleek black - and a girl - slightly small and grey with black speckles. She smiled inwardly. The pack never would know about the loner that was their father; and the pack couldn't complain about additions to the pack. The world was perfect.
Shadows loomed over her. Garnet looked up, tail thumping against the floor, expecting complements on her beautiful pups. Kodiak growled, "Take her out. And the halflings." Five wolves entered. Two grabbed Garnet, and the other three took her pups. Panic welled inside her and she began to struggle as Kodiak led the way into the middle of the densite.
Garnet looked up and saw, to her horror, the barely conscious wolf being dragged towards her. "Scorch!" Her muzzle was swatted brusquely for speaking.
"You have been disloyal to Darkpack." Kodiak growled, "You had pups with him! How is it that you can be loyal to Darkpack?" With sudden, blinding fury, he slashed open Scorch's throat, letting his blood pour in a tidal wave over Garnet's paws. She struggled, screaming at the top of her lungs until she was to hoarse to speak. Kodiak spoke again, "If you want to prove your loyalty, kill these pups. They tie you to that." He motioned briefly to the cooling body.
Garnet raised her head, "No." Her voice was pathetically hoarse, but she got the word out.
Kodiak growled at her, "Then I will." In a flash of teeth and claws, the pups bellies were open. Garnet struggles increased tenfold, using up her last bit of strength. The wolves holding her down withdrew, allowing Kodiak to pass. "One more chance." he whispered in her ear.
When all the wolves were gone, Garnet crawled over to the bodies of her mate and pups. She looked down and gasped raggedly. One of her pups, her firstborn, the large red male, fur crimson with blood, was still barely alive and had managed to open his eyes. They were dark blue, like miniature night skies. They found the moon; and out of his mouth came a high, trembling howl. His eyes found his mothers face before he died.
Garnet buried her face in their pelts, "I'll avenge you." she whispered, "But not yet. At the right time, you and I will have our revenge. But not yet."
Garnet wandered into her den, tired. She curled up on the floor and closed her eyes.

Then the dream changed from memory.
"Girvan!" Her muzzle was swatted brusquely for speaking.
"You have been disloyal to Darkpack." Kodiak growled, "You had pups with a loner! You went to Stonepack and fell in love with this!" With sudden, blinding fury, he slashed open Girvan's throat, letting his blood pour in a tidal wave over Garnet's paws. She struggled, screaming at the top of her lungs until she was to hoarse to speak.
She woke, trembling, her eyes wide. What had happened? More importantly, why? Why had Girvan replaced Scorch? Why had Kodiak said that she - that she loved Girvan? Maybe because you do, said a little voice in her head. She brushed away. Whatever had happened, she felt a need to make sure Girvan was alright.
(WOW that is some good rp....Girvan is dozing beside Kado at the mo)
