Cody sat by the river, gazing at his own reflection. His eyes were narrowed and he was deep I thought, as evident by his tail, which thumped the ground every so often. He did this whenever he was thinking... Or grieving... Perhaps both.
"There you are," Fyra whispered, peering through a knot in the trees at Cody. She had looked all over Stonepack territory and even in the loner lands, and he was right here in plain sight. If the situation wasn't so tense, Fyra would have smacked herself with a paw, but apologizing was her only concern right now. Inhaling deeply, she moved forward, slowly approaching Cody until she found herself beside him and sat down, looking at their reflections.
