"Girvan, I want you to get Faedon and investigate the scents around where you found Duke." The eerie calm tone that Senkah had whenever she was about to rip someone's throat out was seeping back into her voice. "Darkpack did this, but I want to know exactly who is responsible. Whoever did this to my pack will pay with their life."

Pitch flicked an ear back to the den when he heard Senkah. He smiled, but stayed where he was, looking towards the border.

Kodiak rose to his paws and stalked out of his den, carrying an intimidating air Witt him over his shoulders. The massive blue-gray and white he-wolf scanned the densite through narrowed, piercing ice blue eyes. The dark gray and white form of his mate, Atra, followed him out. He drew his tongue over her ear, and began making the rounds around the densite to make sure that no one was being lazy or fighting, while Atra climbed to the top of the alpha's rock.
"Atra?" Jade asked, keeping her green eyes low as to not appear like a challenge. "I've got someone who wants to join."

Echo nodded and tucked her tail between her legs in submission.

Atra swished her tail as she hopped down from the crest of the alpha's rock. "Who is she? And where is she from?"
"I am Echo, originally from--" Echo paused. They'd never trust her if she told the truth. "the loner lands," she finished.

Atra furrowed her brow at Echo. "Help is always appreciated."
