Destoe nodded once more and said "yes sir, do tell me more."

Ripple followed Destoe's scent, which led to the densite. Ripple could see him talking to Kodiak. "So much for hiding." Ripple scoffed to himself. He crouched low to the ground and snuck up behind Destoe, not making a sound. When he reached him, he clamped his teeth down hard on Destoe's tail.

Kodiak rose to his paws and stalked out of his den, carrying an intimidating air Witt him over his shoulders. The massive blue-gray and white he-wolf scanned the densite through narrowed, piercing ice blue eyes. The dark gray and white form of his mate, Atra, followed him out. He drew his tongue over her ear, and began making the rounds around the densite to make sure that no one was being lazy or fighting, while Atra climbed to the top of the alpha's rock.

"Atra?" Jade asked, keeping her green eyes low as to not appear like a challenge. "I've got someone who wants to join."

Echo nodded and tucked her tail between her legs in submission.

Atra swished her tail as she hopped down from the crest of the alpha's rock. "Who is she? And where is she from?"

"I am Echo, originally from--" Echo paused. They'd never trust her if she told the truth. "the loner lands," she finished.

Atra furrowed her brow at Echo. "Help is always appreciated."

"Does that mean I can join?"
