She sighed. "If you tell anyone I swear!" She leaned down and whispered in his ear. "My brother Mason. Stay quite!"

Kludd felt so stupid "How could I have not read the signs!" he said to himself, he then looked at her, not with a look of compassion but with a look that said, I'm going to kill him

Aella's jaw dropped. She raised a paw and cuff his ear. "Don't! If it continues, we both kill him, got it?" She was only a whisker away from Kludd, and her eyes showed pain and determination.

Garron wasn't sure how to reply for a second. He twirled a duck feather in his mouth involuntarily from the awkward situation, before he finall spoke again. "Being alone."

Piper looked him in the eyes and smiled. It felt good to have someone understand. "Thank you. Thank you for siting with me." she looked back down shyly.

(Anyone from Darkpack or Tundrapack want to RP?)

((Viran is free))

Viran finished up her rabbit and licked her lips. She stared around the densite, scowling. She had managed to make a kill in their last battle with Stonepack and wound two others, but she wasn't satisfied. She hoped that she would have another chance at those stupid Stonepack wolves...especially that one called Girvan. He had kept her from killing another wolf and had given here a bite to remember. She flexed her wounded shoulder and sighed as hate filled her mind.

Klash limped across the densite. His shoulder was still bleeding profusely. He made his way to the river just outside of the densite, to wash out his wounds and hopefully numb them with the cold water. "Stupid stonepack scum..." He growled under his breath and winced.

Viran limped over to the river and flicked water at Klash with her tail as she waded in up to her neck, the cool water soothing her shoulder. "Who did that to you?" she asked gruffly.

Quote: Phoenix came in, clearly worried, as his eyes had lost their excited, energetic glow. He nosed her gently, and set the rabbit down away from her. He didn't want to tempt her to eat, since it never did stay down. "How are you feeling?" he asked, his ears drooping.

"Sick," she sighed. She felt guilty; while the rest of the pack was out hunting and refreshing the borders, she was sitting in her den all day. She flinched as a searing pain shot through her abdomen for about the millionth time that day. "Today is the worst it's been, though," she admitted. Her voice was quieted. Phoenix's eyes were cloudy with severe worry. "Faedon... you don't think you'll.." he cut himself off and started again. "You don't think it's serious... do you?"

Faedon's usually bright, alert pine green eyes were now dullened. She heaved a sigh, and rested her head on her white paws. "I don't know, Phoenix." That statement alone spoke volumes of Faedon's condition; she was usually fiery and stubborn, and by her tone, it seemed as though she was almost relenting to her illness. One thing was clear; she was in much, much more pain than she dared to show. Phoenix felt his heart lurch. He pressed his nose, cold from the chilly evening air, into her neck fur. Then he laid down beside her to share his warmth, and rested his head on his paws. He stared at the wall of the den, and felt his heart beat quicken as terrifying thoughts ran through his mind like a wildfire.
The sun sank below the horizon, and night fell over the taiga. The night sky was like a silky blanket covering the taiga and the mountains, seemingly reaching for the stars themselves. The night was calm, yet tension gripped the air, growing tighter and tighter with each second until it seemed hard to breathe. Faedon had fallen asleep, but she was just a little too...still. Her breaths were short and ragged, and just barely enough for her to get air. Along with this, there was an increasing feeling of dread falling upon the densite; it seemed as though something life-alterig would happen tonight. Judging by Faedon's condition, it wasn't hard for many to jump to the conclusion that she would run among the stars tonight.
Phoenix stayed awake all night, looking into the sleeping face of his mate, and uttered small whines of concern. He leaned close against her, squeezing his eyes shut and saying a tiny prayer.

"Some scum from stonepack." He said with a growl and winced as the cold water hit his shoulder. "Who did that to you?" He nodded to her shoulder with his head.
