Duke could see the wolf approaching. He growled quietly, hackles still raised.

"I think..." She turned to all of them. "My brother will come back. I'm putting your pack in danger. I should leave but thank you for backing me up on all of that." She announced. She bowed to Jisrun. "Especially you dad- I mean, Jisrun." She shuffled her paws and looked down.

Jisrun's heart melted. The stoney old wolf and his sweet wife Poppy and never had any living pups. Poppy had given birth to three still-born pups and it had broken both of their hearts, they had wanted children so badly.To have Aella call him dad...
"No." Jisrun said gruffly, blinking back tears. "He's just one wolf. I'm surprised he got this far into Stonepack territory. Please...stay Aella." It was the first time he had used her name.
