Piper started to cry as the loner got closer but she growled at herself, "Scar wouldn't cry! Astrong wolf never cries!" she shook her head to clear the tears and wearily tried to stand.
She was hardly reconcilable...her soft sleek pelt was rough and unkempt, hanging of her bone-thin form raggedly. Her once bright eye were dull and void of the light that used to dance in them, their purple luster now faded to a deep, sad blue.

Garron's heart broke when he saw her. He wished that he could race over to her, comfort her like he had before... But because of Scar, now that was impossible. Garron could feel rage bubble up in his veins as she watched Piper from behind a spruce tree.

(( This song fits Piper and Garron pretty well too
))

(Perfect song from Garron's perspective! But http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=0dYlvdLdK9w is perfect for both...mainly Piper though.)

Piper stood there, her nose trying to Decker who was there. The scent was clouded...as if whoever carried it had rolled in the mud and fell in the river. She took a few steps forward, trying to look brave. "Who's there!" She demanded in a fear filled whisper.
She tried to catch the smell again...
Piper mad a gurgling gasp and stumbled back. "G...Garron? " she cried her voice cracking.

Garron's unmistakeable eyes seemed to glow in the shadowy depths of the forest. His eyes were drowned in unimaginable sorrow, but there was no response from him. Instead, he tucked his tail, drooped his ears, and started to back away.

Piper saw him start to leave and scrambled forward, stumbling over the dead deer in her haste. "No...Garron please! Please."
Her voice became louder as she came closer, "I don't want to lose you again...I couldn't bear it. Ill die!" And looking at her, there was no doubt that what she said was true.

Garron looked over his shoulder with haste; he looked like a scared creature that was cornered. He halted when he heard what Piper said next, and for a few seconds he didn't know how to reply. "Come with me, Piper." His hiss was a borderline desperate plea. "I can't go back. But I need you."

Piper came over hesitantly, her ears pinned. "Garron..."
A thrill of hope rushed through her...She could leave and be with Garron. He wAnted her...needed her! For a moment nothing else really mattered.
But she remembered what she had done on the pack hunt...Scar's sad face...
Her mind was struggling so much with her heart she sat down, her paws over her eyes, trying g to make sense of it all.
"Garron, I want to go with you...I want to so badly! I have wanted to since you left and I failed to go after you. But if I left with you now Scar would come after me...He would kill us both as traitors, Garron. I could not bear watching you die, knowing it was my fault!"
A sob wracked her body, "I just don't know what to do!"
