"Good," Fyra sighed in relief, feeling an enormous weight she hadn't known was there lift off her shoulders. She cared about Cody, just as he said he cared--a lot--about her.
Echo entered the den as if she was welcome with open arms, and Fyra scowled. How she disliked her for her choices... but after all, Echo was her sister whether she liked it or not. At least she was here; just as she had been when they were left on the Stonepack border, left by their parents who couldn't be bothered in taking care of them.
"You okay, sis?" Echo asked, leaning down to examine the wound. She turned to Cody; "Should I get one of the alphas so you can rat me out?"
