Something that Fyra said caused Cody to snap. He didn't move a muscle for just a split second, save for his hackles, which were bristling on end. He whirled around and roared, "At least you HAVE a sister! You insensitive idiot, Fyra, just LEAVE ME ALONE!" Cody turned and sprinted away towards the mountains with sparks of fury flicking from his pelt.
Fyra didn't respond. This was surprising for she seemingly always had a remark--most of the time it was not a nice one--for any who dare scream at her.

Cody is different, she reminded herself, holding onto that fact although he was obviously upset... very upset.

Her mind swimming with longing for Willow's helpful (and often hilarious) advice, Fyra didn't notice Flood beside her until he nudged her in a brotherly way. "Hey."

"Hi," Fyra responded, looking blankly up at the he-wolf.

Don't worry 'bout your guy's problem." Flood's kind eyes showed compassion and understanding. "I bet it'll be all over by morning."

"T-thanks." Fyra's cheeks had began to warm at the words, 'Your guy.' She looked down. "Thanks for the advice. I should go, though; Senkah ought'a know about the"--she paused--"unwelcome guest."

"You're right," Flood said, nodding. As Fyra began to turn away, he added: "Hey, Fyra?"

"Yes?" As she turned to face him again she could see his solemn expression had morphed into one consisting of a goofy grin and sparkling auburn eyes.

"You really kicked Echo's butt back there. Mind if I use your moves sometime?"

Despite herself, Fyra giggled. "Any time."

Meanwhile, a black and gray she-wolf darted along the forest floor, her yellow eyes blazing demonically.

"How to destroy them, I ask myself?" she mumbled as she went. "Join Darkpack, of course."

And she directed herself toward the border of the most evil pack in the taiga to do just that.

Winter nodded to Jisrun. "You go this way and i'll go that way." Winter padded into the bush. She giggled and tried to see if there were other packs around. The bush beside her rustled, and she stopped dead in her tracks. Winter glanced at the bush and started to whimper when she heard a low growl. A large animal leapt out and pinned her to the ground. "BEAR!" Winter screamed. The bear tried to bite Winters neck, luckly, she was small enough to wriggle away and ran to Jisrun. "BEARS!!" Winter screamed and she hid behind him, shaking with fear.

(( Speaking of which. In case anyone's wondering, if Faedon was a human she'd look like Kimberly Perry. And (( you'll like this Cluckins )) Cody... Cody would look like Reid xP ))

Gryphon took off after her, neck in neck. His muscles rippling under his sleek, powerful pelt, the wind ruffling his fur.
Willowpelt smiled watching him. She was a close to the river. She tried to get there quickly.

Gryphon feigned wiriness and let her pull ahead a bit, laughter in his eyes
Willowpelt finally reached the tree. She jumped in happiness. "I won!" she jokingly teased.

Jisrun's hackles rose as a snarl rose to his throat. He rose to his full height and stood between the bear and the pup, his fangs bared aggressively. He couldn't remember the last time a bear ever dared to come into Stonepack territory...but here it was...so close to the densite too! He pushed the pup into the bushes with his back foot and then growled at the bear, advancing a step. He howled to the sky, hopping his pack mates would help...he knew he was no match for the bear by himself...no wolf was. But he would not run...he would protect Winter with his life need be.
The bear wasn't impressed and swiped out a paw, roaring loudly in irritation of loosing it's prey. Jisrun dodged and snapped at the bear's face, the bear pulled back and then swung his paw hard in a back hand sending Jisrun flying, a menacing crack echoing as he landed against a tree. The wolf got to his feet and rushed the bear again, swiping a paw at the bears eyes. With a roar the bear staggered back a bit, blood from a cut on his head dropping into his eye. Jusrun howled again in this brief respite...
