Scar's paws grappled for a foothold, but the mist from the waterfall made the earth soft and damp. His sharp claws racked through it to easily. For one brief moment, he caught Garron's eyes. For one heartbeat he locked stairs with the one who had stolen his sister and destroyed his life. Scar's face was calm but he threw one last crazed stare of hatred.
Then everything speed up again.
Scar didn't make a sound as the earth beneath him gave way. He didn't howl or whine or beg Lupus to save him.
He closed his eyes, feeling the rush of wind and weightlessness that would be his last thrill before death. Relished his last breath of air before he smashed onto the river below...

(Why do I have a feeling he's not dead?)

PIper's new song.....

While pelt laid in her and Gryphon's den. She barked to him.

Gryphon rose his head slowly and licked her nose fondly.

Willowpelt smiled as her eyes were half shut.

"Tell me your story."

Gryphon's low voice sounded through the cave softly.

"Well....." It's pretty boring. Willowpelt said, she didn't want to tell him the horrors of her life yet.

Gryphon licked her kindly but his eyes were determined. "I told you my story...i have never told another wolf. Please, Willowpelt..."
Willowpelt nodded. She took a deep breath. "Well.... I had a mate before you. He seemed like a sweet, gentle kind of wolf. I thought he loved me," she shivered. "We had pups. When they were about two weeks old he... He... He killed them all! Each and every one of them. I miss them so much! I had two little girls and three little boys. They were my happiness," she said, crying out each word she said. Her eyes were flashing with sadness.
Gryphon nuzzled her comfortingly. "I'm so sorry. I promise I will never let anything like that happen to you again."
"I love you," she whispered. "D-do you want to have pups someday?" she asked.

(( *Knock Knock* DRAGON?!?!?! ))
Yes" Gryphon said. "I would love that."
(( Want to have Willowpelt wake up and find out she's pregnant? That would be fun. ))

"I'm glad," she smiled.

(Sure)
Gryphon smiled down on her. "Secretly...I have always wanted pups. But I always thought is was a silly thing for a big tough guy like me to wish for!" He chuckled.

Gryphon slowly awoke. He gently rose, not waking Willowpelt as he padded out. He jumped on top of his rock and looked out down the valley. The sun was just rising behind him and the delicate rays danced in the thick mist that rolled down from the mountains and ascended from the river. He sighed., breathing in the cool crisp air of a dewy morning.

Willowpelt woke up and slowly stood up. She felt like she ate a cow. She carefully walked outside by Gryphon.
