Suski glared at him for a second longer before letting out a scoff and walking away. She saw Ripple heading back into the densite. She smiled at him. "What were you doing?"

Ripple shrugged his shoulders. "I was just showing one of the new pups around." He could see that she was upset, as much as she tried to hide it. He knew not to ask, so he just tilted his head and looked at her with puzzled eyes. Then something clicked in his mind. He scowled and looked around his mother, at Destoe.

Destoe walked up to him and asked "where is the pup?"

Rose nodded "I was a loner for a while, even my birthpack was made up of loners who had banded together. But I have made sure my pups will have a true pack to call family by coming here."
