Safina whined. "I don't know. I'm sorry."
Kara looked over her shoulder at Mahala, "I can't tell you what to do, because you aren't my pup, but next time you decide to wonder into the forest.... Don't take my pup with you!"
(Kara has become a little over protective and paranoid since the whole pack disappeared)

"Wait I'm sorry Can I come with you I'm very lonely. Please. I'm good at hunting." said Mahala.

Nike nodded, he got up, and hurried out of the den, not looking at West.  
Sierra staggered to her feet, shook herself, and walked on wobbly legs to her mate.

West sat beside a tree at the edge of the den site. He looked into the forest, thinking about his family. "I think I'm gonna go see Sky and Dad." He whispered.
 
Lacy wondered through the forest, in an area her dad had called 'the shared territory'. She hadn't hardly been able to catch anything, and was losing weight. She curled up inside the hollow of a tree and slept.

"Really?" Sierra smiled, but then it faded. Her ears drooped, and her tail sat limp. "Don't leave me forever." She whispered, her voice barely audible.
