Akira and koga walked off to the edge of Darkpack territory. Koga was finally feeling better and while his leg was now useless, he could get around real well. Once they reached darkpack border, they sat down and howled. They had reached the conclusion that with emeraldpack being so small and darkpack growing by the day, that would most likely never get their son back. So they sat and howled a goodbye to their pup.
West heard the howls of his parents and knew the sad low notes were a goodbye and a sorry. He whimpered and howled along.
Atra added her own triumphant notes to the chorus, proclaiming her pack's victory.

Shadow got up "I'm feeling better now" He said aloud "It (barely) hurts when I'm moving" he smiled

Aki watched the meadow for hours and finally a turkey walked in he dashed out and grabbed for one, but, he missed and growled at the large bird now in the tree. He would go hungry tonight. He was getting cold and the snow was getting deep again, so he trotted back to the hollow to sleep. He wondered if the pack missed him and if he would ever find another mate.
Mari woke from a deep sleep, and looked around. The rest of the wolves in the camp were sound asleep but, Mari couldn't go back to sleep. She got up and slowly walked to the camps entrance, she turned at looked back at Stonepacks camp. Now that my injuries are healed, I'l have to leave soon. she thought sadly. She walked out to the forest and began to lope through the trees. Maybe I'll go hunting... she thought. She turned towards to shared territory, and loped to it. She crouched in the long grasses and waited. An hour went by, then another half hour. Mari began to lose hope in finding any prey here then mouse scurried from its hole and Mari leaped, grabbed it, and silenced it quickly. She walked out of her hiding spot, and ducked under a bush, she laid down and started to eat.

A familiar scent drifted to Mari's nose. She jerked her head up. Stonepack? she thought. "Who's there?" her voice rang out in the silence.
