Suddenly, Nebrivo got a surge of strength. He planted his paws on the trunk of the tree, and lifted his head upward, almost as if preparing to howl. There was a great snap, and the wood came tearing off the tree. It was a huge board, large enough to carry Lupin, but small enough to carry back with ease.

Neb looked at Quartz and grinned for the first time. "We did it." he said, breathing heavy. Then, his expression faded to sorrow, again, and he began to walk, with the bark, back to the den.

Shira was at Stonepack's border, when she saw something she'd never seen before: two wolves carrying a piece of bark in their jaws, to a den. Shira shook her head. What was all that about?!
