Sierra scented the air.  She wondered where West was. 

West padded back into the dens after a failed hunt. "Man," he groaned "I suck."

Mari lifted her sharply.  She caught a scent of Aki.  Mixed with the strong scent of blood.  She heaved herself to her feet, and bolted out of the den site.  "Aki?  Aki!" She howled. 

Aki could just make out Mari howling. He lifted his head. "Here." He tried to say, but no sound came out.

Mystery had fled from darkpack land when she saw stonepack. Now she meandered slowly through pine pack territory.

"I think someone's here!"
"Do you think their friendly?" Echo asked, she was worried about the packs decreasing numbers and hoped for a new member.
